*Crisis Intervention Therapy is available to established, active clients receiving ongoing care through Healthy Avenues Medical Group. This service is intended to support clients who are actively engaged in treatment. If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.

Cancellation Policy

Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 business hours in advance to avoid being considered a missed appointment.

Missed Appointment & No-Show Policy

Healthy Avenues Medical Group values your time and strives to provide timely access to care for all patients. Missed appointments and late arrivals prevent us from offering those appointment times to other individuals in need of services.


Patients who do not provide advance notice of cancellation ("No Call/No Show") or who arrive 16 minutes or more after their scheduled appointment time will be considered to have missed their appointment and will incur the following missed appointment fees:


  • First missed appointment: $20
  • Second missed appointment: $30
  • Third missed appointment: $40


Missed appointment fees must be paid before future appointments can be scheduled or attended.


Patients with repeated missed appointments, including four or more missed appointments, may be subject to review and potential discharge from the practice in accordance with Healthy Avenues Medical Group's attendance policies. Any discharge will be based on clinical appropriateness and continuity of care, and referrals will be provided when applicable.


We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible so we can assist you in rescheduling and offer the appointment time to another patient.
